Really nice long session with the big kit and the slalom board. I felt better than I've ever felt on the JP 114, nicely in control and not in any fear. Was keeping pace with Mike when he went on the water with his slalom board. Annette was doing well.

John Mitch was freestyling. Colin came out later, probably a bit underpowered at first. Then after 4pm the wind arrived. Bang, my 8.5 was too much. Had I not been so cooked I'd have changed down. But no, tht was plenty.

Next Friday we are off to Leucate. Long 12hr+ drive thro the night. Deep joy. I got a TOMTOM yesterday and downloaded various POIs in france. the Aires, the supermarches and so on. I heard from a couple at Brog that Leucate can be incredibly windy, like 3.3 stuff. If so I need a smaller sail.
